Hypoallergenic is a label that indicates a product is "less likely" to cause an allergic reaction. These products do not include ingredients that are known to irritate their skin.

It should be noted that manufacturers are not required to prove this claim, and there are no official regulations or standards for them to adhere to.

If you have especially sensitive skin, you can test for yourself by applying a small amount of the product to the inner wrist and observing for 24 hours.
